To facilitate societal implementation, we explain the essential basics of intellectual property—including why research findings should be patented from an innovation creation perspective, along with successful and unsuccessful IP case studies—while addressing the necessity of patenting research outcomes. Amid growing demands for the societal implementation of research outcomes, this session is for those interested in patents but too busy with research to pursue them, as well as those seeking additional research funding or aiming to advance the practical application of their findings. Why not take this opportunity to explore the possibility of patent applications? Researchers in the humanities and social sciences dealing with competitive strategy are also strongly encouraged to participate.
