T-GEx Fellow Dr.NAKAMURA Satoko, Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research(ISEE) Nagoya University, received the Excellence Award in the Basic Research Division of the Aichi Prefecture "Wakashachi Encouragement Award".
The award-winning proposal is "The risk assesment against the severe space weather disaster: the observartion network in the Tokai region".
The Basic Research Division targets innovative basic research that aims at "searching for truth," "clarification of basic principles," and "discovery, creation, and accumulation of new knowledge," resulting in new economic value.
