Donation Request to Tokai Pathways to Global Excellence (T-GEx)

Tokai Pathways to Global Excellence (T-GEx) was established in October 2021 to support early career researchers (ECRs) in the Tokai region, helping them develop into world-class researchers who can address global challenges and influence international research trends. To achieve this goal, T-GEx formed a consortium in collaboration with academic institutions and companies primarily located in the Tokai region. Together, we strive to provide meaningful support for the development of ECRs. To date, T-GEx has evolved into a vibrant research community comprising approximately 40 ECRs affiliated not only with Nagoya University and Gifu University but also with the academic institutions and private corporations within the consortium. These researchers actively engage with one another and gain inspiration by participating in a range of training programs and events throughout the year. The academic achievements and experiences gained through T-GEx activities are shared across the Tokai region through the initiatives of T-GEx ECRs, potentially leading to significant social impacts.

To sustain these activities, it is crucial to secure adequate funding. Unfortunately, one of the primary factors contributing to the decline of research capabilities in Japan is a lack of financial resources. T-GEx, led by Nagoya University in partnership with Gifu University, is also navigating challenging financial circumstances. Therefore, we kindly invite your donations to support T-GEx’s initiatives. With your assistance, we will continue our efforts to advance research and development for ECRs in the Tokai region, ultimately contributing to the resolution of global issues.
