T-GEx Fellow Dr. YOKOI Akira, Nagoya University Hospital, has been awarded the Medical Research Encouragement Prize of Japan Medical Association.

Japan Medical Association Medical Research Encouragement Award is presented to members of the association who are conducting research that has great medical promise and is recommended by the chairperson of a Japan Medical Association section, the dean of the Graduate School of Medicine or the dean of the university's medical school, the director of the university's affiliated hospital, the head of related institutions, or the president of the prefectural medical association.
