On April 17, 2026, we held the FY2026 T-GEx Kickoff Meeting with T-GEx Fellows, Associates, Corporate Associates, and other related members in attendance.
This year’s T-GEx members are as follows:
Fellows: 18 (including 4 newly appointed in FY2026)
Associates: 12 (including 2 newly appointed in FY2026)
Corporate Associates: 9 (including 2 newly appointed in FY2026)

Each participant received their certificate of appointment individually from President Naoshi Sugiyama of Nagoya University.
This was followed by an overview of the program, including research funding, the Skill Booster Modules, shared core facilities within the Tokai National Higher Education and Research System, URA consultations, and the annual schedule.
Next, the newly selected Fellows, Associates, and Corporate Associates introduced themselves using slides in English. Existing members also gave short self-introductions along with presentations on their research.
Finally, the URA team introduced the event task forces, and members for the T-GEx Lecture Series, the retreat, and the Research成果 Exhibition were announced.
