On July 13, 2024, a Top Leader Talk was held by YAMADA Sadao, President/CEO of Daido Co., Ltd., a T-GEx partner company, and Dr. Sugiyama, President of Nagoya University, to learn about the role and mission of leaders, as well as the nature of leadership. 20 young researchers from inside and outside the university participated.
President/CEO Yamada spoke about the 67-year journey that has seen the company grow from monthly sales of 500,000 yen to one with annual sales of over 100 billion yen, and also provided some hints on how to become a world-leading researcher who responds to the needs of society.
After the Top Leader Talk, the participants visited the Daido Industrial Robot Exhibition Hall, where approximately 50 machines from manufacturers such as Fanuc Corporation, Denso Corporation, Seiko Epson Corporation, and Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. are on display.
