The research of T-GEx Fellow Dr. NAKAMURA Satoko, Institute for Space-Earth Environmental Research(ISEE) Nagoya University , was selected for the 11th Nagoya University Ishida Prize and the award ceremony was held on 30 November 2022.
\r\nThe theme of the research is \u2018A Preliminary Risk Assessment of Geomagnetically Induced Currents on Japanese Power Grids\u2019.<\/p>\r\n

The Nagoya University Ishida Prize was established based on an endowment from the Ishida Foundation to recognise young researchers with outstanding research skills and promising future prospects, and to support the motivation and development of research.
\r\nApplications were invited from young researchers belonging to research institutions in the three Tokai prefectures (Aichi, Gifu and Mie) in the fields of humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, and the winners were selected.<\/p>\r\n
